Yame no Mukashi is my absolute favourite among all the matchas I’ve tried so far! There’s just something about its taste that I really love. I enjoy the balance of umami and natural sweetness, and I find it rich and smooth without being too bitter. It’s the kind of matcha I genuinely look forward to drinking, and after trying different varieties, this is the one I keep coming back to. Definitely a new favourite that I’ll be ordering again!

I am pretty used to the dark roasted houjicha and after trying the light roasted one I am sold! This houjicha is chocolatey, malty and sweet, it is an easy drink for everyone to enjoy. Despite its lighter profile, it still shines through milk making it an enjoyable houjicha latte. Totally recommend this, it is value for money!

When i saw that it is made by gyokuro instead of using tencha I was intrigued and got it immediately. It surely did not disappoint! The umami savoury taste matches the gyokuro taste profile I am familiar with and in a matcha it definitely shines through the milk and ice! This has a stronger flavour with a solid umami, nutty and balanced bitterness which I really like it.

I would definitely recommend for matcha latte and in a usucha it was a chef kissed. It makes me more interested in matcha from mie which normally i would not have associate this region with matcha and man it did a great job to make an impression!

Uji matcha price is crazily inflated in singapore and when i found this place i was elated! The matcha was green and tasted balanced. What I like is that it has a hint of white floral sweetness which definitely distinguishes itself from the rest of the samples i had.

What I appreciate the most is that the team does a fantastic job on their follow up with the service. They email me on the day when i receive the matcha and ask for my feedback and gave great recommendations for my needs and even help me with my matcha recipe.

I bought a couple of the matcha samples to try before committing to 1kg matcha. To be honest, the drink i made did not taste as expected and a little light.

But I would say their customer service is top tier. Jin dropped me an email right on the day the matcha is delivered and ask for any feedbacks. I told him about the taste and he quickly explained where i was doing wrong and gave me guidance to make this to its fullest potential.

I must say my ice ratio was killing it and after trying again I love the nutty profile, the green and no bitterness at all.

Will highly recommend this to drinkers who aren’t use to the strong umami seaweed tasting kinda matcha. It almost taste pistachio like!

I was hesitant at first about buying matcha from this site, but i’m so glad I did! I run a small matcha business and wanted to find good quality matcha that I don’t have to spend a lot of money on for bulk sizes. I took the risk and ordered 1Kg of it, which came in just 17 days! The color of it is so green compared to a lot of matcha powder in the U.S, which can sometimes look very dull and yellow. It tastes very nice, and leaves no clumps when I whisk it. It also is not bitter at all! (in my opinion) Highly recommend 🍵🍵

I think I’ve finally found a way to appreciate hojicha even more. Homura a light roast hojicha that still gives you that matcha feel that often gets lost in darker roasts, but with a light, fruity, malted and crisp finish. Tried mine today as Honeycomb hojicha affogato

I bought 1kg without testing it first and I was really surprised by the quality, it's good value for money. Great for your daily matcha latte with a good flavor.
