At Wakokoro Tea, we believe that exceptional tea begins with the people who grow it — and that preserving their craft is essential to the future of Japanese tea.
We partner directly with skilled, small-scale tea producers across Japan, from the misty hills of Uji and the sun-drenched plateaus of Shizuoka to the lush mountains of Kagoshima. These farmers are the guardians of centuries-old traditions, growing and crafting tea with deep care, precision, and pride. Through these close relationships, we ensure traceability, honest sourcing, and unmatched freshness.
But Wakokoro Tea is more than just a tea brand — it is a movement to revitalize Japan’s tea industry. As rural tea farms face aging populations, declining demand, and global competition, we aim to support sustainable growth by connecting producers directly with tea lovers around the world. Every purchase helps keep these traditions alive and supports the next generation of tea makers.
We don’t just offer authentic Japanese tea — we share the people, places, and purpose behind it.

Moja ulubiona matcha. Energia, smak. Wszystko w najlepszej jakości. Super
Super tasty, favorite matcha I've gotten from here as of yet :)
Szybka, sprawna i sympatyczna obsługa. Paczkę dostałem 5 dnia roboczego od dnia zamówienia. Super. Na zimny, listopadowy dzień ciepła Matcha, co może być lepszego? :)
Great Product!
I'm really pleased with this. I drink lattes very often and this has become my go to. A lot of people are under the impression that an extremely high quality matcha is required for lattes, but that isn't true. For any matcha drink without milk, I will go for something higher quality, but for lattes, this is perfect. The matcha looks exactly like the picture and I will repurchase
Perfect starter Matcha Bowl. Looks great and is very sturdy. I also got a chasan to go with it. Very Happy with the purchase.
Very nice Matcha, bonus thatit'sorganic
Delicious matcha! And for a great price too! Has deep umami flavors but is not bitter at all! Overall a great tea!
The matcha tastes very good. The color is beautiful. Highly recommend.
Everything is perfect! Fast delivery and very kind service! Definitely must try!
This is a very sweet, mild tasting tea, with a deep, robust green color that remains during the brew cycle. I feel it is lower in caffeine than some of my other favorites. A lovely, enjoyable tea especially for beginners to the green tea universe.
Prompt shipping and reasonable shipping costs
Love this matcha! Vibrant and bright
