Size

Uji no Mukashi (宇治の昔) is a reserve grade, first harvest matcha from Uji, Kyoto — a quiet, refined expression of Japan's most storied matcha region.

The color is a vivid deep green, the particles ultra-fine and uniform. The taste opens gently, then deep umami and elegant sweetness unfold gradually across the palate. Bitterness stays in the background, and the texture is velvety and creamy through to a serene finish with notes of fresh greens, white chocolate, sweet bean, and pistachio.

Origin: Uji, Kyoto  |  Grade: Reserve Ceremonial  |  Cultivar: Blend (Samidori, Gokou, others)  |  Harvest: 1st Harvest  |  Supply: ~30 kg/month
