Very tasty would definitely buy again.
Although this matcha powder was in the "Imperial Ceremonial Grade" section, the powder was very gritty/grainy after hand whisking it for a matcha latte. It was also a yellow-ish green when mixed into the milk and not a bright green. The taste was bitter. I wish it was more smooth. It also took over 3 weeks to arrive so the temperature may have ruined the product while in transit. Very disappointed as I purchased 1kg for an event.

As you mentioned, its color is not as vibrant as some of our other matcha varieties. However, we take pride in its aroma and flavor, which we find to be fragrant, subtly sweet, and generally low in bitterness.
When we tasted this batch, we did not notice significant bitterness. It is possible that the prolonged transit time affected its condition, or that the water temperature brought out more bitterness. We recommend preparing it with slightly cooler water, around 60–70°C (140–158°F), as this can help enhance its sweetness and umami. Sifting the powder before whisking may also help create a smoother texture.

It's SOOOO REFRESHING! the matcha can stand with the citrus flavors. It's a balance of floral, fresh aroma, slight grassiness and citrus!
It's kind of hard to explain how it tastes but it's so unique to the point that you'll want to keep drinking it. Perfect summer drink!

I love how smooth and creamy it is! It has a very rich umami with little to no bitterness and leans toward slightly grassy with very minimal astringency but overall balance!
